Sweet. What do you typically feed it? Crustaceans? Feeders? Maybe if I gutpack the feeders, the colors will get more intense... If I get feeders, then I'll definitely be setting up a quarantine/breeding tank for that....

They don't require feeders, mine will eat anything. Rainbows are naturaly scavengers so will eat the smallest of items pellets, mussels, bits of shrimp etc upto fish of almost there own length. I have had a problem with over eating and now either feed small items daily or large items with a couple of days gap.
 
I concur. Every Erythrinus I've ever had has taken pellets, frozen krill, frozen brine chunks, market prawns, the kitchen sink. . . er, just kidding about the sink. ;)
 
No chance you guys would know of anywhere around Michigan/Detroit that would have them, would you? I've been discovering some GREAT shops around here, but none so far that I've seen these fish at...
 
I think the Vendor FISH ROOM PLUS here on MFK might still have some available.. Lil guy's, good deal too.. Shipping would probably be cheap, and you could maybe do a group order to save!
