If the public bathroom I'm using is pretty bad I'll spartan kick the door open.

haha definitely do that with toilets in public RR's, even urinals, thats where I get to practice my chuck norris round house kick to the face lol

It is pretty well established that:

-Most sickness is spread through the hands.
-The human immune system is greatly improved by a healthy diet, exercise, and proper sleeping schedules.

There are plenty of white papers that study the correlation between clean hands and sickness. Most point to the fact that everyday environment factors afford more than ample exposure to bacteria, virii, parasites, and/or fungi to keep the immune system strong. Additionally, most also suggest that regular washing of the hands is a good preventative measure against sickness.

Even though I wash my hands on a very regular basis, I am extremely healthy and get sick rarely.

I work with 4 and 5 year olds hence, its countless BUT the real question is, how LONG are you washing your hands for? Its takes a certain amount of scrub time with soap to be effective....

True, and some soaps are more effective than others!

all the little kids signs theyve been throwing in the bathrooms at school (even my college) say 20 seconds, i never counted though lol

Most bacteria are our friends, people! Hand sanitizer as part of day-to-day routine is EVIL and literally one of the biggest threats to humanities health, developing super-bugs that can't be stopped by antibiotics. Better to risk getting a little cold, than to contribute to creating the super-bug of science-fiction, that wipes out half the population ;)

Personally, I say, eat food off the floor if there's nothing stuck to it, only bother washing after taking a leak if, (in the words of George Carlin) "YOU GET PEE ON YOURSELF!", number-twos are a given, though, and wash hands before eating or cooking, especially after being in public places where there's a very high chance of picking up some grotty person's butt-germs.

With that lifestyle, I have the immune system of a GOD!
Plus, with being careful not to touch my eyes and nose (one of the best ways to transmit cold-and-flu-causing bacteria) I pretty much never get sick. I haven't puked (not counting drinking too much) in over five years, and the last time was food-poisoning from bad chinese takeaways.

Y'all should try it! (not the chinese takeaways, giving up the germ-phobia)

i wash my hands a lot...but only when i use the bathroom, after i feed the fish, after i mess with my critters, and when i anything else involving my hands getting dirty.

and my parents call me dirty cause i dont wash my hands on a regular basis apart from when i mess with stuff that gets my hands smelling like fish or insects...
