How many times per year do you do water changes

With fish like oscars and catfish its imperitive that I stay on top of things and do significant water changes weekly. 60gal a week for my 240gal tank.

Water change schedules are all over the map. My LFS owner tells me 25% per month, even though I buy RO water from him.

Most people here seem to think 50% weekly is best.

It depends entirely on how much waste goes into the water, which depends directly on the amount and quality of food that you feed.

I do 60% to 80% wc every week on all 16 tanks.CA love the clean water and the high ph
