I'd ask the question, "how do you know you're getting away with it"?

All the fish aren't dead on the bottom? Nuts, even a 50 gallon with tetras in it benefits fish health having more than 1 change a year!

I do 2-3 water changes per week on the oscar tank, and only 1 per week on the rest of the tanks. Because oscars are very messy fish....

I wonder if they remove the fish and do a total breakdown of the tank,rinseing the gravel and replacing the water before returning the fish.

I'd put money on it some of them are using fairy liquid as well...
