I've been keeping fish since my early childhood, less than 7 i guess. If i remember correctly, my first fish was a Betta fighting fish.

over 40 years, off and on . . . this last stretch has been for a straight 20 years with any gaps. i was a 10 yearold when i got my first tank. it was a 10 gallon stainless-steel framed tank with an aluminum full hood and an inside filter. I got it with my allowance. it cost me $10, brand new.
