Hendre Hendre you mentioned earlier in this thread how obsessed i am with that "little forum" I made? I started that "little forum" before you even started keeping fish and I have been keeping fish since I was very yonge, so probably over 10 years. Jeez

Let's try and get this back on topic here
How long have you been keeping fish? and when did you start to take it seriously?
While technically I've been keeping fish since I was 11 (2011). I only really started to take it seriously after I came back into the hobby in June.
I started out with a little 40b and had a good run for about a month. Then the ammonia just spiked killing basically everything I had in the tank, except my sun cat and couldn't figure out why (looking back now it was because I did not cycle the tank properly). We eventually got sorted out by adding extra filters and changing the gravel (that's what we thought fixed it at least). Fast forward 2 years and I was forced to move to Arizona. I got a 65 gallon tank and a few months later I first joined MFK under the name "Catfish Pownage 63", but I was a novice then didn't much (although I thought I did) and I was just annoying, didn't listen to people and pretty full of myself as well (kind of like another youngin we know here lol). I eventually left around 2013 as I started to get the a feeling I was an annoyance. A lot happened in that time acquired lots of fish, got rid of lots of fish and some died due to my low amount of experience or mistakes. I started to take the hobby seriously in 2014, however I still consider myself a novice then. At the time I had 2 P. blochii (4-line pim) and 1 H. brachysoma (sun cat). In the summer 2015 I finally came to the realization my 65 wasn't enough for all 3 fish. They started fighting a lot. So I ended up selling the 2 4-lines, and kept the sun cat (known as Smudge) for a while. Then in October of last year my heater busted killing the sun cat and with that decided to leave the hobby for while. Then in July some friends convinced me to get a new tank, and lucky me the dollar per gallon sale was going on and I had mad stacks from doing yard work and extra chores around the house. I convinced my dad to let me buy a gorilla rack and a 40b. Then while researching some fish I stumbled upon MFK and decided to return as I had learned a lot since my last run.
