How much did you spend for fish keeping?

Counting is bad luck, but I have to budget, so I've been keeping tabs on what I'm spending on fish, now Photography is another story! I'm ahead right now, if I sold all my fish and equip, but I won't because its a piece of mind when I'm in my Doghouse, so to speak, the wife! I'm happy the way things have turned out my second venture into fish keeping... my first was a lesson well learned, "Don't buy new, don't buy on impulse, and check water parameter, fish breathe air!" so far I've dumped maybe a grand, but I have over 1K worth of fish and setup, which is awesome!

Jan 2010 planed my 210-dreaming and begging the wife, well 21 year anniversary helped. Then had to build a 75 gallon sump and algae scrubber. Then a diy stand and canopy plus the usual stuff 3 heaters 2 pumps, 2 led lights, sand, driftwood oh yea the cheap mail order fish....so this year with the other 2 tanks probably 4k but that more than any other year so far. If I could get the wife to clean tanks I could do way more, makes me feel kinda diabolical.
