how much do you guys TIP your waiter?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I usually tip around 15%. On a side note which I am sure will upset some people I also refuse to pay servers on anything but a card. I have to pay taxes on my wages so do they. In college I was friends with a ton of servers and hardly any of them ever claimed their cash tips.

How is military life so far?
im thinking its pretty fair in some parts and not so fair in others. the people in my company are great, especially my platoon. i hate being jipped of my hard earned dough. so many debt payments, and they dont even tell you why. im owed atleast 1000-1500 so far. i never took my leave days and they said i did, which means i have to pay them back for that. in reality, they need to pay me for the unused days. thats since leaving ait. my mos is not used at my home station and i would like to be doing what i signed up for.
Sometimes You have to do that. Glad to see You!

And You need to remove 2012 from Your sig. a Legacy never has an ending.
i think that right. ill work on that.

I swear man, Asians are the worst at customer service in the restaurant business.

was in china town LA today to see my tax guy, went to a Chinese bbq joint. pretty nice place, food was pretty good but the customer service is pretty much non existing. they seat me and my wife, give us our menu. come back to ask if we're ready to order and we needed more time. the guy never asks if we want something to drink. they come back, take our order and I forget to order drinks. they bring us our food and we have to flag them down to bring drinks.

they were polite though, not rude or anything, just pretty much takes your order and bring food. nothing else.

I left with no tip. should've left a penny to let em know what's up but oh well

lol. Nice guy.

I always tip @ 20%, more if the service is great. I figure its Karma and it will come back to me.

I read all these posts where people say it the wait staff's choice to work there and they shouldn't have to tip. Well its your choice to eat somewhere where they have waiters. If you don't want to tip, go to McDonald's or Pizza Hut where they don't have waiters and you don't have to tip!

Well, if it's our choice then we can choose places with waiters. It's also our choice to tip.

They can go apply for McDonald's if they don't like the tips so it goes both ways
