It's funny how we value things. I personally wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred bucks on a watch. I'll pay for quality, but I won't pay for "name" or brand on an item that I consider simply functional. A 40k dollar watch tells the exact same time as a 200 dollar one.

LoL, heck I wouldn't even buy a watch. As my cell phone has one built right in:naughty:

I was in a Saltwater Fish tank store in my area that I had found about on the internet and got to vist it and it was really cool. They had a saltwater Lion Fish for $200 bucks and it was only about four to six inches long that was sold and they also had other $50 to $1000 fish there and I would personally be a scard of keeping a fish that cost that much in that it would be worth more then a $300 and most a lot of these fish themselves are likely 20 times worth more then my fish tank set up right now.
200 bucks for a lionfish??? Now that's a ripoff lol! I personally hate expensive pets. Why? Because I spend so much time worrying about them I lose the enjoyment of the animal itself. After 6 years of keeping several lungfish, I finally bought an 800 dollar Aussie. Guess which one expired in a bizarre accident? My 50 dollar African lung is still ticking however lol.

LoL, heck I wouldn't even buy a watch. As my cell phone has one built right in:naughty:
I came to the unfortunate realization the other day, as I briefly struggled to read my actual watch, that I'm so used to the digital version I'd rather check my phone clock instead of the "real thing". Plus the phone auto-updates correctly.

Tanks shots were being asked for, yet they have not been produced. So far there have been 2 excuses. We don't care if the pics are too dark, we just want to see that this is really YOUR tank.

I saw the previous thread's pics, with the tank shots. It's still there I believe, although it's locked.

There was a series of pictures, I saw them. The thread may have got deleted as it was an "attack" against another member. They were there though, the arapaima is in with a bunch of large koi.

Well, either way, the pics could have been posted on here..

Meh, I'm sure the OP will repost em. And I doubt they are from a public place, unless the OP brings his/her cat to pose next to the tank lol.

either way i kn ow were the op is coming from i too have wondred this exact thing i dont have the cash for a 5 grand tanks neither alone a fish but i still would say my giant cichlid or pea cock bass i have i love them out of all the fish ive had

im a little pissed though that australia has some tight laws reguarding importing fish actully we legal can only import like 30 diffrent smallish species know

i would love ashovel nose tiger ive seem them go for 3500 here in oz but you cant find them at all so my 3500 fish here is like a 30 fish in usa
