Great looking watch huh But the problem is, if we are talking about a time keeper does it really matter i have seen Timex as reliable as a Rolex the question is what exactly were you thinking when you purchase your Rlx , perhabs investment or status/ i ve learned over the years that no man made objects can satisfy one's thirst for enchantement and serenity as nature can ,therfore spending 5000 or more on a special fish is only a pitance when you consider the feedback i have been on the other side specially when it comes to watches at this time i have one of the finest Vintage Gold Omega collecting dust in a safe how does that really help me /// its amazing how i cannot wait to jump of my bed so ican be near my PIMA/// LOL
Since some M F K members cannot wait to jump on my back and start doubting my sincerity ,,,,,Attaced is a picture of the watch in question freshly taken LOL
Iknow its all non sense in a way //but this forum is resilient and can take anything so LET"S TALK ITS FREE yaknow

P S I know your post has nothing to do with me wanting to buy a fish or not I brought in the watch issue thinking that it might be relevant........

If money does not matter then just buy it rather than burn your money on something your not gonna enjoy as much.

Ironically, you say you will pay for quality but you won't pay for "name", yet the "name" brand that I would spend 40K (US not Can) is a brand you probably never even heard of. haha. Different strokes for different folks.

Here's the watch...

N-e-way back on topic
Btw is that a ROLEX in the pic very hard to tell does not look so beware of the Chinese Type LOL

Perfect example, I'd rather have a big tank and pima even though it might be "worth" less than a fancy watch. However I'm sure there are many people who would see the tank and fish as a waste compared to an expensive watch.

The moral of the story is value for luxury items and disposable income is up to the person. To answer your original question, if you think you're being overcharged you only have to reconcile your indignation at being "ripped off" with your want for the item.

A platinum gar if I recall correctly
