How much personality does an Arowana have?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My jardini is aggressive and always looking for food. On days I fast him he splashes the tank water making sure we notice him if we pass by without feeding him. He follows anyone back and forth. And will always wait on the side of the tank he is normally fed. Kinda scary when I feed him or have to change water. He acts pretty much like a aggressive flowerhorn.

Every fish has different personalities. I think your confusing dogs and fish. Fish can understand you’re the hand that feeds them. Can be trained to a point. But no fish will be like a puppy truly wanting to be petted and loved on like that. They don’t have that pack mentality where they accept you as their leader. They are fish. Awesome as you think they are but only coming from a human mentality.

Really?
I'm not so sure on all that. You get a tank boss some times, obviously that would be the leader.
What about schools of fish? Someone decides where to go.
I think fish have more personality then you give credit for. Are they the same as dogs or cats? No? But there is intelligence of a level I dont think we quite grasp yet.
I think as humans we have decided to look at most things a little to 1 dimensionally. To us alot of the time its black or white. But honestly its usually some shade of grey.
