how much will my flower horn worth

are you serious $5000 for a flowerhorn, that's too much.

Not to the right buyer. People pay 1,000s, tens or even hundreds of thousands of $$$ for reptiles everyday, why not fish? It was quite an exceptional FH though. usually I see FEMALES for $40-$100, but not Males....most males I've seen were at least several hundred, at least yearlings, (which is still like a 10" fish), but they were low quality. I guess things are different here in SE PA.

No confusion intended, but I'm talking adults and sub-adults, not little guys

Hey I'm in southeast Pa too, and that's way too much. Out of curiousity you haven't been shopping at Natural Pet in East Norriton have you? (That place has laughable prices. Saw a 19.00 convict there recently.) Anyway, your either appealing to a wide customer base with reasonable prices or hoping for one moron to stumble onto your fish and bite on an astronomically overpriced fish. People that rich/dumb don't come by often. I'd try to make a deal that you and the person buying from you could agree was fair. Dont screw them and don't screw yourself.

just like pelleeklund said, i just want a fair deal and not screwing and take advantage of others. If you think about it do it really worth few hundred $ when there are plenty of other flowerhorns available. more supply less demand(money)

the only way to brake the chain of high price is either you sell for cheaper price than the rest or never buy from people who sell their at high price. If people stop buying those expensive ones eventually the price will drop.

$50 is what I'd pay..only if I really wanted it bad enough. Problem is, in your area, there are lots of quality flowerhorns to choose from. I would pay more for better quality.

Thick papilla on last fish tells me it's a female...nice looking one too, with pearls on its head.

when that kamfa grow large enough i'll sell it. I have no plan of breeding it so what's the point of keepin it. One guy here on the forum told me it's a female. My male red kamfa or blood red kamfa which ever people name it, died 2 weeks ago. My look like this one in the picture below except red eyes, worm pearl, and no kok yet.
