How much would MFK pay? (35gal planted)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd say in the 50 > neighborhood. Definately price the labor into this. If the guy isn't breaking down for you that comes out of the price. If you are doing all the lifting on this I'd say 50 honestly might be high. Plants can be had for cheap-free in the right place, gravel, 50 lbs for 2 dollars at HD. TAnk is 30 dollars new, light is 15-20 at Menards, Glass top is 10 dollars, filters used are near worthless unless its a real nice canister or something special. The DIY CO2 is really easy to DIY so no need to pay for that. I don't know I might go as low as 20 dollars if you aren't taking the stock with it. Used value for most of the stuff you are buying is halved or less so really the only component of value is the aquarium itself and that is used. Add in labor and 20 bucks doesn't sound bad.

Wait is that some kind of special hood? Eclipse?

the lighting system is a reef "satellite" one ...link already posted.

I live in canada, no HD here, or Menards afaik...just petsmart and walmart...and LFS's with hagen tanks.
