How much would you pay for a fish??

I would have a limit of $350 now but I am still at school no no proper income. Hopefully when i get a job I will get a 2000G tank which stretches around the outside of a room. It would be recreational of the amazon and I would try to see if zebra plecos would breed in such a large space. I also want to use fish tanks for walls in a house which would be really cool (with a door cut in the tank).

as for me, the most expensive fish i ever paid was a 5" GOLDEN ASIAN ARO for SGD 4k........

after that, i feel the pinch for the next couple of weeks..... :lol2:

I wouls spend 1 fifth of my salary monthly

The most I've paid for a single fish is about $1000.
Maddness is taking it's toll on a deal I'm trying to make to import giant tasmanian FW lobsters. I've spent $2800 on the permit process (still not approved). Once approval is made, I have to pay for the permits. Plus, the only source willing to sell these crays is asking $1000/ea for a minimum of 1 male and 2 females (plus shipping/taxes/customs/etc. Add to that the fact that the crays would be juvies with about 8 years before they're breeding size and this deal really can and will add up. It's a lot to contend with but, if it works out I stand a chance to be the sole US provider of a crayfish that reaches an average adult size of 12lbs with records reaching 20lbs.

ive heard of these monsters

one thign ive learned through breedign fish is to go big or not at all , i had the choice to buy buy a 2000 dollar group of zebra plecos (adults 7 females 3 males) and jumped on it versus triple thjat in juvies that dont mature for 3 plus years

usually by the time they grow up interest in them via the public has disapated

id go big and buy 1 male and 2 female adult (probably 50 grand though)start mortgaging ur house homie
