after looking at op picture for a long while i'm going to say that it is an ebjd, a rather low quality or even stressed fish. there's too much of a blue hue to the face area to be a regular jd.

Yeah, not enough tan/green(as in none basically) and too much blue in the mouth region. EBJD imo.

We haven't heard from the OP on this thread in 5 months...

And when he last posted he said he was no longer interested in selling the fish...

And he never did ask for our opinions as to if it was a Blue Dempsey or not.........
 
Yes they are right it is just a regular jd(sorry-but thats the truth-had enough of them myself-but nice one though) As far as I know as too color Var., there are blue gene jd, elec blue jds and regular along with pink jds.
