how much would you pay for this blue dempsey????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am leaning heavily toward it being an EBJD. Even if it's not, there are some rude people who have posted on this thread. As far as price goes...if it is an EBJD at 5 inches, $50 is a good price and I would pay it.

ok i need to know! what is about the fish that makes some of you guys say EBJD because im just not seeing it. i look at mine compared to the OPs and mine is covered in blue. so what does that make mine?

it makes mine an ebjd cause i got him when he was an inch and i know he is an ebjd. yes he doesnt look like other ebjds, but this is how this one has turned out. i wish i had pics of him before he got 3 inches, he was very very nice looking. but his blacks and dark blues took over after 3 inches and this is what he is now. he isnt the best looking ebjd by far, but when i got him no one would have sent him back or said he wasnt an ebjd.

oh and just for anyone who thinks they might end up with one like this, there was nothing about this guy at an inch that would make you think he wouldnt be a quality fish. from the pics of other juvie ebjds, this guy had all the same color and pattern as you see in many other ebjds. just make sure you see pics of the parents

id pay 3 bucks for that fish.

.....Really guys.....I'm sure if the fish has some EBJD blood in him. And $50 for that fish is a nice deal and "YES!" my brother will pay that price for that fish anyday! :D

If he looked like that as a juvi, then he is an EB. Its a shame his color went downhill, because any EB breeder would kill for well colored EBs with that guys head shape. As NC_Nutcase said, maybe his color will return. The problem is that if I read your first post in this thread correctly, you may have to find a buyer, before that happens. Whatever happens, good luck with him.
