How much ya'll think this colony of Front's is worth?

I live in the state of NY, im sure if you went to NYC or Syracuse you can get good deals but out here in the sticks where i live NOBODY has got them and 1 inch juvie burundi go for 35 bucks each, so some half grown nice looking fronts , even burundi , will go for a much higher price than they would in a big city area. I think a non burundi frontosa would go for even more. I have seen reports of 7 or 8 inch burundi males going for 80 dollars each and breeding females for even more. I personally wouldnt pay that for them but other people dont want to take the time to grow them out and when there arnt alot around the price can get steep.

Thanks alot for all the info you have been a big Help! :)

Good luck. I hope they sell at a decent price for you. Most people live in an area where they can get them cheaper than i can, so im sure im not the best person to have chimed in LOL

Im in the same boat as cichlidgirl,Ive seen 2" burundi as high as $50 each.Luckily I got a better deal on my mpimbwe.
If any of those females have held it would bump up the price a bit.

those frontosa are very nice. i would say 300 for all. and i wouldnt go much less.....

for a colony of 4-5 burundi unsure of sex, if they are in a low demand place I wouldnt see selling for anymore then $120-150. The again they are overly abundant where I live.

That is like people who sell 55 gallon tanks for 150 dollars. The fact is Ohio has a large cichlid base. Many people keep, breed and growth these. At the last cincy auction 6-8 inch 7 stripe kigomas went for 7-15 dollars a piece. Burundi selling in a group would be much tougher to sell in that same market. Hints why 120 is fair.

dont know if this helps or not, but here's what i have seen lately ...
on gcas (cinci) there is this listing
http://www.gcas.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11379

and north of columbus, i know someone selling Mobas for about $100 each for 7" males ... and $25 for 1.5"

but as always the fish is only worth what someone will pay ... you could try posting on CAFE, but i dont think anyone has had much luck selling expensive fish there lately ...
