How often and what do you feed your bichir ?

I have en Endlie, he's awesome. About 12-13 " and pretty healthy. I feed him every day. He only eats lancefish...won't eat anything else. He eats about (5-6) 1" pieces of lancefish a day. Should I try anything else? He has claimed a part of the tank as his, along the side right under the heater. Thats his spot. The smaller senegal lays ON him or UNDER him.
ANY NEW IDEAS FOR HIM??

Yes,as long as there are no small fish it may want to eat,try starving for a couple of days then try massivore or prawn or mussel or tilapia or anything you want.

Oh and i feed every day,twice a day somedays and sometimes il give em a one or two day break and just keep doing that.

Once a day at night and Massivore, Tilapia, Silversides or Krill and one day without feeding....But when young try to feed more often twice a day...just starve him for a few days then feed only massivore or another food item it'll get the idea

Once a day or every other day. I feed NLS (38% protein) and market shrimp.

i give 2 times a day.in the morning and evening...feed them with earthworm,massivore,prawn,tilapia,cichlid gold bio+ and small fish...
