Right now I'm doing 15 percent one day, wait one day and then a 50% even though I am understocked and have a high turnover. I might change it to 50% every three days since my single discus doesn't seem to like it when I change the water and turns dark for a few hours or the rest of the day.

40-50% weekly on all my tanks. No problems so far.

i use to do weekly 25% water changes then i just kinda stopped cuz i was so busy. i do about 30% once a month. i feed 4 times a day small varied amounts each time. i havent had a problem so far and most of my tanks are double the filtration. thanks for all the imput guys! there are alot of diverse answers here. its nice to see that :) thanks for all the responds too!

i do 75%-85% every 12 days, with changing filter pads / cleaning sump

depends on what tank but at min each tank gets a 25% once a week.. and most get even more then that. one case imo less is not more. I really don't think I can do to many water changes, but realistically as long as my nitrates stay under 20ppm and nothing else is readable. I consider my routine good. since upping my water chnages and being more religious about doing them I've noticed fewer issues with disease.. and not many species I haven't been able to keep successfully even in "less the ideal PH perameters" ect. Provideing an over-all healthier environment imo has been key in my success.
