How old were you when you got your first tank?

I was about 12. Bought it myself. Then bought 2 more. 10 gallons each. Was just the tip of the iceberg....

I was 12. It was a 35G and had angels, bala sharks and some livebearers. Still got the angels and balas.

I got my first tank at 22. Not really a tank but it holds water so I could say it was a tank. I was bored so I went to Petco and picked up 2 angels and a 1 gallon container. I think these were made for frogs and lizard for kids to bring their critter to and from school. No heaters and no filters but I did get fish flakes. After one week the 1st angel died. Did some researched online then realized a tank with tropical fish need filter and heater. Went to Petco again and this time I bought a 29gal AGA startup kit for $100. I've been hooked ever since.

i think i was around 11 or 12.. my mom let me have neon tetras and chinese algae eaters and guppies. We even successfully bred guppies and had most of the babies survive..

i don't remember what happened to that tank.. i think it was a 20 gallon..

the next tank i got was the 150 gal we bought for my hubby's piranha that died before he got moved into it last year. now we've got 6 tanks up and running, and 2 the need to be up and running and we desperately need to buy another 100 gal or larger tank to set up in the next month..

i think i'm addicted.

I was about 12, I got a 20 to hold some feeder fish for my turtle. I stuck with the fish, and got rid of the turtle.
