How old were you when you got your first tank?

Yup...and there are probably a ton of us who are fish rich...and cash poor.

like 15, had a 10 gal with barbs for like 2 yrs then started to upgrade, been keeping for almost 19

My first tank that was "all mine" was a 10 gallon with a goldfish when I was 9.

i can't remember a time with out fish in the house 55s , octogons ,even had one shaped like a globe . the earlyest i can remember was a 20gal long wtih one red belly parana that terrafide me thats probly why it sticks out .wheather they mine or the familys they made growing up lots of fun and now I pass it on to my son.

My parents put a 30 gallon saltwater aquarium in my room when I was about 4, and I've loved fish ever since. The first tank that was truly *mine* was given to me when I was about 10.

5 gallon tank for hermit crabs when i was under 10years old i believe. Didn't get into fish until some friends all started getting tanks some went with betta's others went large with oscars. Other than stupid betta bowls (i was young and didn't know better) i didnt' get a 10gallon until about 1994-95. Since then I now have a 55g and a 29g Not set up just yet.
