HOW R MY FISH GONNA SURVIVE!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just curious as to how long a fish can survive in a bag? How long do you think it would be untill you would have to put them in something different?

There is no set calculated time...just keep in mind that bigger fish need more oxygen as they breath more. This is especially true with fish that gulp air out of the water, such as Snakeheads and Gars...

A person here once lost a very nice and very large snakehead because they did not take this into consideration.

Good luck shopping!

for 2 hours you will be fine. As long as the bag isnt super overstuffed
Like mentioned earlier, put as few of fish as possible in each bag and go for it!
oxygen tablets dont hurt either:)

it prolly wont be mch, just some bichers prolly

they cross the world in bags...

thanx guys, gottem home safe

It'll be fine. I've brought fish back and forth from school (about a 2 and a half hour drive) plenty of times. I put them in a bucket and use an air pump just in case though.

yea it was fine, heres the shrimp i picked up

nice fish, how did you travel with them? did you use a bubble or just keep them in the bag? i would like to know cause i wanna take some fish out of the lake at my lake house but its 5hrs away.

Well stupidly when i guy at the fish store was bagging him i forgot to tell him i would be goin 2 hours so he could prep the bag, i decided to just chance it and he was fine, i believe as long as you have a good sized bag compared to the fish and possibly 1 fish per bag there will be no problems
