How reliable are eshops overflow boxes

I don't see how you'd keep the syphon going. Like I said above I don't trust the hob overflows.

Lifereef are considered the best overflows. Saltwater folks swear by them.

I have the largest one they offer for an HOB, and it doesn't deliver in my opinion. It says "1200gph".. well if that was true, I shouldn't have to throttle my mag 18 back like 75%. I'm drilling my next 210gal I'm getting soon.
