neo you seem to be a very well rounded individual. No im not callin you fat.you like to know a little about everything, good sport on the crop thread and thanks for makin me poop the pants in the scary girl prank, interesting tree info, thanks.

Yeah This is crazy stuff - very symbolic if you ask me, of how this world is today. I just thank god that they are not telling anyone where Methuselah is. (Been following his/her story for quite a few years now)

if it was in cali it would have graffiti on it by now,i love cali but we got a few little problems huh.

Yep, leave it up to us humans to kill off rare species of plants and animals. Last year while i was attending college, my anthrology professor said that since the year 1900, twenty species of big cats have become extinct.. For some reason, that stuck in my head. That man was always cramming us with odd knowledge.

Yeah, there was a bit on this in series 'The Private Life Of Plants'

However even though this tree was nice and old... I'd be a bit more worried about the quantity of trees being cut down globally NOW, and imbetween the one old tree they cut down 5 years before we first landed on the moon.

more than that now... Theres a whole load with ludacrisley small numbers now, I think the Chinese tiger might end up as functionally extinct, I'm not sure, and theres even more if you count the smaller cats too.
We kill off 10s of species a day... probably more we didn't even discover first.
