How to breed Apistogramma Cacatuoides successfully.

Yeah sadly mine didn't last long. My angels decided shortly after getting the apistos that it was a good idea to start breeding. Well you can just imagine how well it went between 2 4in tall angels against 3 1in long apistos. Granted never seen the angels do it but that's my main guess on what happened, either that or they just couldn't handle to high PH I have.
Bummer.

If the pH was below 8.5, and the conductivity was below 400 uS/cm, I'd lay blame on the angels. cacatuoides come from some pretty hard water in nature

My PH stays at roughly 8.6-9 so I'm very limited on what all I can keep. Honestly I'd probably still blame the angels tho, they are pretty mean fish for being so dainty and delicate.
