You throw a pair into a tank lol. Not rocket science. 9 out of 10 times these horny things just go at it.

tipps and tricks man lol

people have methods to induce breeding behavior gshock their is a some sceince to this.

i know some of them and read all about it on other threads, the purpose of this thread was not to train wreck like its already heading towards.I want experiences from people who actually have done it.Like temprature drops and feeding certian foods and water changes.their are secrets and i want to hear it from some people who do it and how exactly to do it.

mine bred when I moved them from a 180 to a 600. I did weekly cooler water changes and fed every day, tilapia, shrimp, smelt, squid, earthworms, hikari pellets. I really think it was the move?... hope this helps

This so called science is just trying to replicate the rainy season as they breed right at the end of it. IMO the whole reason why they breed constantly in captive setting is because of our constant need to do water changes and because of the constant supply of food. If you were to cut down on the food and somehow manage to maintain your water without doing water changes, you probably won't be getting so many pregnancies in a year. Even if you don't do this, just the fact that these things are hornier than guppies is enough. Is there even a need for such tips anyway? Theres only been like a handful of males on this forum that are unwilling to breed despite being mature, and if i remember correctly, even those were solved with some competition in the tank. Like I said before, 9 out of 10 times they'll do their thing without you doing anything. If you have ample space, a ton of food, and the appropriate water changes, nature should take its course.

You put 2 females and a male in the right size tank feed them well take care of the water

Then wait

all depending on the size of the rays when you get them will deturmin on how long you will have to wait
