I've had my own fair share of breeding throughout my years of keeping rays. Im nowhere near expert, but I just find it funny that you can belittle a big portion of the forum when you havent been able to breed rays in 8 years, especially with fish that normally go at it that much. It doesnt really concern me if you've really been keeping rays for 8 years or not, but I would expect almost everyone who keeps fish, especially someone with something as demanding as rays, to know at least how to use salt whether you bother with it or not.

The salt treatment i knew of was a small dose.not 3-4lbs per 100 gallons.i do indeed believe I'n the salt treatment you told me of if done correctly it works well.i was just unaware that fresh water rays could handle that much salinity.honestly i never had a big enough tank to breed them I'n my early years.i had a pair of male motoros for years.before that single male hystrix
