Hmm it's been almost a month now & looks like the gill plate is not growing back..
I should've known better before cutting it off.. & so far he has the most potential out of my 6 two inches fh.. He even beats up the biggest of them all (cause I put them together due to aggression from other fh)..
Sigh.... looks like my first mp will be a deformed one with exposed gill..
I should probably name him Harvey Dent..

Gill curl is a deformity.. basically the gill just curls up.. I don't have a before pic though.. Some say exposed gill does make it vulnerable to diseases but so far mine is doing fine.. Just need to do a frequent water change..

I looked at him again & he's getting redder.. but the exposed gill ARGGHHHHH why does this have to happen!!! Finally a fh with potential but WHYYYYY.. I'm really a bad fishkeeper........................................
