How To Choose The Best Fry

Not all gill curls come from deformity. Actually, most gill curls occurs because of very poor water quality. And cutting the gill that deep is a very risky thing of leading gill disease for the fish.
If I am going to pick something that small, I would buy as many as possible and hopefully one turned out great. But being at a LFS, it is a very tough thing to do.
How much did you pay for each of them? I'll tell you what kind of quality is the FH at that size later...

Indeed they are hard to choose from when there's like hundreds of them in there.. I paid $8 for five of them when they were 0.5"~1"

If i were you, i would pick Harvey & FH 2...

*Harvey - had nice color and little humps visble..
*FH 2 - I like it for being flowerless its look clean/net, attractive, and it also looks unique for me

I just maintain water changes weekly & shrimps/pellets..
Actually I've a slight bigger fh that looks like FH 2 in a pail (Harvey bashed him up real bad) which I'm thinking whether to keep or give away.. It's really a tough decision at this point which is why I dislike getting so many fh at one time..

Anyone could help me ID my fh? Thanks.

aaah ok, that FH 2 is really awesome in my eyes, if you already have a bigger one then you dont need this FH 2, if are near in my place i will surely buy this FH 2 from you Harvey has a really good potential in all of them but the only thing going bad to him is that cut curl gill... i beat his life is not going too long like full growth..

It's really a tough decision at this point which is why I dislike getting so many fh at one time...

But I think FH 2 has more kok potential than the bigger one although they are quite similar..

If you're to choose from these five fh, which will it be?

Low quality golden base or low quality red ink....but I will not confirm which exactly until further process of those fish. They can burst into a whole different look in a few months.
