How to get rid of Snail's.

the lettus/other soft veggi trick is the best...
getting a fish to solve a snail problem is not a good reason to get a fish...

for MTS skip a feeding for a day or two then just wait an hour or so after the lights are out and scoop them out


if you never plan to keep any sort of inverts in the tank ever again there is a product called Had-a-snail that works like a champ.. but it does tend to last forever at times even after a total tank breakdown and cleaning.. check to see if your fish are ok with it before using it though..

I have heard that a piece of copper wire in the tank will kill snails. I like snails so I have never tried this

as long as you have plant in your tank then you can't never get rid of them. They reproduce like crazy in your canister filter.

when I had snail problems i'd just smoosh them against the glass and my fish would eat em...but then again it was only in a 10 gal so it wasn't much work

Warmouths or even better Red ear Sunfish... You won't have a snail left after a few days. AND you'll have a seriously cool native North American mini-monster in your tank as well.

try assin snails or putting a piece of lettuce in for a few hours and then tanking them out by large numbers
