How to get rid of Snail's.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My mystery snail just layed a couple eggs. Idk if they will hatch but imma give mine to family with ponds and tanks.

okay yeah clown loaches simply crush and rip the snails too bits. Tested; works!

I think it's definitely better to eliminate snails through baiting and picking them off than to add fish to fix the problem. Adding fish increases bioload (not to meantion, clown loaches grow pretty large!), and that will just cause more problems in the tank. Chemicals kill the snails, but then you have a bunch of rotting snail corpses fouling water quality, unless you pick them all out. If you're going to do all that, you may as well pick them out alive.

Cool, but the size of a full grown Clown Loach don't worrie me to much. Other than it's Food for one of my fish sooner or later.

Clown loaches have spines and spikes... not really good for any fish to eat. It could harm the fish that's eating it.

Is Copper safe harmful to my fish? I have a GATF and Goonch growing out. If it wont hurt them and kill these damn snails i'm all for it.
