How to glue acrylic?

No, he never mentioned making a drip plate. It was I that talked about drilling a drip plate. That is not my sump, the one I am building will not have that left chamber. I will put the bio balls up 4" from the bottom. I just havent decided yet on whether I will use bio balls or those dollar store scrubbies. I havent priced bio balls yet, I would prefer them but we'll see.
 
dam, this would've been great info before i siliconed my acrylic divider together; parts are starting to come off already!

to reiterate, drill your holes VERY slowly, let the drill bits do the work... i found that out the hard way:irked:

My bad....I got all caught up in the pix...sorry :D
 
thats my sump. left side chamber is getting a 4x8 filter bag (perfilter), bioballs will have drip plate. and right side divider will be lowered a little. as for 1/2 the bioballs being under water hence wet/dry sump!
