I hand feed my baby reds everyday and they never try to bite my fingers. Just get food that is longer so you dont have to have your fingers actually in the water. Just dangle the food and splash a little bit. They will get the idea sooner or later. Mine did.
u could end up missing a finger then what will u pick ya nose with.
