How to I.D. Black bar's at quarter size?

I'm still firm on my opinion that you have EBH's there. If you compare the bar on both the hooks you have you will notice that the bar on the smaller ones are about the same thickness as those on the larger ERH's.
Also the hooks on the smaller hooks seem more platnium than red to me so that's another reason why I believe they are EBH's. Mine were also quarter size when I got them a little over a month ago and they look just like the ones you have. I would expect growth around 1" per month or more depending on your water changes and feeding frequency.

that would be cool if they are. I guess i should know in a month or so at 1" per month.
I notice when i first turn on the lights the bar is real pronounced and seems real wide.
There are two common kinds of Black Barred Silver Dollars, The thinbars and widebars. There is one more specie but it is the rarest of the trio.

Yea I am pretty sure that mine are too. The bars are getting bigger now that they have settled in. They also already look bigger after a week.

2 months later, I have lost a wide bar and 2 of the thin bars due to my tig, But as you can see the ebh already outgrew the ERH's
