How to keep track

I couldnt even tell you with any certainty how many tanks I have!
I started keeping a book but it got completly outdated when I went to 3 auctions in 2 weeks this spring Sold 6 coolerfuls of bagged fish and brought in a bunch.I would have to go tank to tank and figure it out.Never mind the plecos and loaches I sometimes dont see for a few weeks at a time.

I have to be a little honest here. Most of the time I use the notebook to note down 'big" things that happen. i.e. selling off a group, adding to a group, mysterious dissapearances, suicide jumpers. floaters, etc..

I couldn't even begin to tell you how many fish i actually have. It has gotten a little better now that I've sold off a few of the groups. If I had to gues I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of 100.

I never said I was that good about keeping up on it. I never note water changes of anything like that. You would be talking about multiple books.
