how to lower the aggression level in my tank???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
its a 45 gallon tank with a red texas a green terror a jack dempsey a tiger oscar and a jewel in it and the temp has ben pushed down to 74 degrees in the tank

How big are the fish? Considering the size of the tank the fish dont have enough to lose each other even if you overstocked especially if the fish are already of a considerable size. Im not going to go into how that tank is waaay to small for those fish because thats not what your here asking but get ready to hear about it :) if you insist on keeping them in there your answer will not be overstocking with other cichlids but use dithers instead in this case larger non fin nipping tetras. Any other dithers like solver dollars or tf barbs will get to big fir that tank unless you have plans for upgrading.

How do you get it to 74F in Georgia this time of the year?

Looks like it's a grow out tank. Add more deco to break the line of sight and create hiding places. Adding target fish would help too, but you don't have many options considering the tank size.

ok like would a 75 gallon tank be a little better and add just more deco and rocks and cave for them to hide in and i plan on not keepiong them in this tank for to long there just in here till i get the money to buy a bigger tank
