how to lower the aggression level in my tank???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The tank footprint will be important. I think that the existing stock might work in a 6' 125g. But bigger is better!

Having those 4 fish in a 45, is like having you and 3 of your buddies live in a bathroom 24/7, and how many times you change the water per week, is as many times as you can flush the toilet. My guess is, you'd be kicking the ****e out of each other is less than a week.

ok like would a 75 gallon tank be a little better and add just more deco and rocks and cave for them to hide in and i plan on not keepiong them in this tank for to long there just in here till i get the money to buy a bigger tank
As long as you grow these fish out in 45 and 75 gallon tanks, you will have issues. Adding more fish and deco to an already inadequately sized tank will only make matters worse IMO. You'll need to get a 120+ gallon to give the fish a chance to live a healthy life. Without enough space these fish will continue to fight until a few succumb to stress, bad water quality, infections, and/or aggression. The majority of the fish in your care grow rather quickly. Your small tanks will become much smaller in no time. Unless you have realistic plans of upgrading to a large tank within the next few months, you may have to consider getting rid of some of them. Either that or find the means to separate them in a couple of other tanks.

hahaha fo sho!
