How to make water changes fun?

Exactly. Even without the beer I don't mind doing water changes, I enjoy looking at the fish and spending a bit of time observing them. If water changes are that much of a chore you really need to scale back the number of tanks you have (or at least the amount of water you change) or set up an auto system.

I've got a bowflex in the same room as my tank. I generally do water changes during exercise.

Haha you've got a good point. Probably could have saved $50 on the stuff for my changer and $300 on a used bowflex and just hefted 5 gallon buckets, eh? LOL

Yeah I like to do that, too. I normally tote my laptop into the man room and blast some classic rock.
