Probably sound stupid but haven't used them before. I need to know how to measure a pre-drilled hole in my aquarium so that I can order the correct size bulkhead. Do I just measure across or what? Anybody recommend somewhere to order bulkheads from? I only need 2, I was just going to get some off ebay or www.glass-holes.com

Measure across the hole and get the widest measurement...for example 1 3/4" (45mm) hole will accommodate a 1" bulkhead...
And PetSolutions on E-bay is about the cheapest I could find for quality bulkhead fittings...

You could order them from Jehmco.com. they are decently priced there, about $5. I thinki that they even have information about what size hole you need for each different bulkhead.

I know the 1.5" hole is for a 3/4" standard bulkhead, I'm guessing the 1.25" hole would be for a 1/2" bulkhead...

it sucks because its not like I can just return them, I think I am just going to order 2-3 bulkheads from www.glass-holes.com and hope for the best, all of their orders over $10 get free shipping anyways.

I use 3/4" and 1" bulkheads...1.5" and 1.75" holes respectively...
So if I were a betting man, and I am,
I would have to bet that the 1/2" bulkhead needs a 1.25" hole (.50 + .75" = 1.25")
