How to mount bullkhead on non flat surface?

This is my very first try at this. Since I already got the 1” bulkhead, I will use it on the short side of the tote.
I can fiddle later if I need to step down spray bar size.

why are you gonna put any bulkheads in the sides of the tote? totally unnecessary IMHO. all you need is a bulkhead in the lid and how many bulkheads you will need for return to tank. thats it.

I am not setting up the filter like yours. It does not sit above the tank. It sits side by side with the tank.
Long side of the tote faces the tank and that is where the 3 bulkhead to drain pipes back to tank.

well so you plan on fill the filter from top and drain from top? or your plan is to have the filter above the tank but next to it?

Do a 1" slip x correct size barb. Glue the slip to your pvc. If you need a break point install a union

They don’t make it like that. 1 inch barb goes to 1” socket which fits 3/4” PVC.
It is ok, I used the bulkhead and 1” 90 elbow barb to NPT.

2 bins stacked. Top spray bar, drips to 2nd bin, drains out 3x 1.5” pipes back to tank.

Bottom 2 bins are empty, just to raise it above the tank, so drain pipes can be above rim of tank.

The center hole on top bin is for overflow. My setup is indoors. Waiting for Uniseal, add drain pipe wirh holes and
I’m done.

There is like 1” tolerance where the bin can slide back and forth on the lid. That was crazy to align so I tie wrapped
bottom of the bin to the lid and re-drilled so they always line up.
