I'm sorry. All I can picture is someone thumping on the fishes heart screaming
"DON"T YOU DIE ON ME, NOT NOW!"
"you're my boy Blue!"

When you spend the kind of money a quality FH costs you might just change your mind...meghanashley;2519121; said:I laugh. Recalling.... a few months ago the faces of my co-workers as I explained to them that I massaged my Black ghosts heart for almost 20 mins when I came home to my tank that leaked out while I was at work. I don't think that I would attempt this with a fish that I had no connection to but I can't say that I haven't tried to resuscitate a fish.
Thanks... You have the same name as my wife...navygirl76;2519721; said:this is a great thread. ive heard that running water through the mouth and gills can revive a fish-ill remember it! btw, your flowerhorn is a beauty! i would do everything to save it too
i have used mouth to snout on puppies-and it works. not too different from mouth to mouth on a human.

Yes taking a pic is prolly pretty important for an expensive fish in order to get your money back. Unfortunately most transhippers do not cover the fish. It is only covered for getting into the US and not from transhipper to you.FSM;2519115; said:maybe someone said this, but...take a picture of the "dead" fish before you take it out of the bag, since most sellers have a live arrival guarantee. If you revive it, good job. If not, you paid a ton of money to ship and got nothing in return. Bummer.
