That highschool soundes sweet! My school has a few hampster and guinea pig cages, a 20g long with 2 RES, and a 6g bowfront with two comets in a first grade classroom. The only other tank is the one I described.

I think staying after class and offering yourself to help clean his tank like someone noted earlier (don't know how to quote) is a good idea. He can't get mad if your just offering to help him. Also, might make you look responsible and a hard woker.

You can't clean a tank of that size enough to keep 2 Goldfish and a Common pleco alive.

True, but its better than nothing. And if i where a teacher and one of my students comes and trys to take my fish, i would get mad. But, if he volunteers to clean it, i wouldn't.

I think I'll volunteer to clean/wc it for a few weeks, then suggest very calmy that I could put the pleco and snail in my 75 and take the comets to the LFS. Then I'll suggest that he get a betta or dwarf gourami

This is one of the most genuine threads ive seen for a while!!!
In all seriousness man your a true Fishkeeper, for questioning the guys motives if worst comes to worst just put them outta their misery, and if you get caught explain to your principle that you were doing what was best in the interest of the fish.

On a side note tell your agro teacher theres a whole website of people who hate what hes doing and if he dont want about 5,000 people waiting for him by his car pick his game up or not even try!!!

Just make an anonymous call to the local SPCA or Humane Society. They will call the school & schedule an inspection. Otherwise, give him a redacted copy of this thread!

Well I said bad things about him, I can't give it to him.

And yes, my religion teacher preaches peace, calmness, and respect, but he screams at us and slams a yard stick onto his desk as hard as he can.
