How to start a fish store?

Ill proablyl start in 3-4years so ic an ahve all money needed.
 
I know of a trout farm in michigan. The owner raises trout for resturants and stocking ponds. They also let people pay for any fish they catch while fishing. I don't know how they do on selling trout for other purposes, but the pay fishing has looked pretty slow a couple of the times that I have visited. They have about four or so ponds. They also have an indoor swimming pool/pond(for winter fishing) and a few smaller indoor ponds. I don't know if they actually breed the trout or if they just grow them from fingerlings. There are also catfish and a few other species. I haven't been there in awhile, so I don't know if they are still in business.

Thats pretty cool, some companies do that you pay and then you get what you catch

Also... this is from personal experience, everytime i go the the petstore and they have those home-made dog treats...i always get hungry and want a chocolate bar lol...so might think about having those ahahah I have yet to find a pet shop that carries them...but i know i'd buy them every time i went in lol, might just be cause i'm a chocolate addict though, but think about it...a kid comes in to buy a betta (which is probably the ONLY fish you should sell a kid..well a young one atleast) ands going outta the store...I want that mommy! Mom...thats a dog treat hun....well get something for ya at the drug store, kid, but i want it NOW! mom:...(if you had chocolate bars...tehres your sale!) lol I rest my case

Question for ya, do you have an idea of were your gonna set up shop yet? or still to early in the plannng phase?

Thanks a lot for the links especially the glasscages, they got some nice custom tanks. Will proablly consider them. I think your the second to state the thing about candy bar/pop. Some one esle posted earlier about selling pop , same layout as yours. so that cna be a possibilty. If you mean location? I have a really good street with tons of traffic,foot traffic really great place to start buisnesss just hoping some stores clear up. And i got a pretty good plan so far.
