I find i kind of funny that you ask everyone here to share the wholesalers that we know of have used in the past but you wull not share.

I think that it has more to do with luck in some cases where the LFS make any money. The big thing is if you start in an area where the market is full then you will have a hard time and one store may go under, and if you start in an area where there is not very many stores then you will have a hard time since you are introducing a new product.

Just search friendship aquatics and company.
You have to email them to get price list.
They sell in bulk and got really good prices.

I always go to big als to get things.People knwo what they are doing,stock is good etc. It is always packed.

Side note: I did some research on big als and found out that... If anyone has about 500,000 dollars in there bank doing nothing , you can start your own big als store.
They give you the name,logo,all there suppliers and help you start it out.
Lol now if we all had that kind of money lol.

and on the fish supplier thing... just because nobody told you doesnt mean you didnt ask... is it just me or is that kinda hypocritical?
Honestly if you want to open somethign along those line i would keep your current job then start a discus breeing project or breed some reptiles (if you know anything about them) like ball pythons. Morphs of these if they are quality can sell for alot of money like if you get some good (like high quality morph) ball python breeders you could be selling each baby (about 4-5) for $1000 so 4-5000 will leave you with some profit after the expensis are taken care of. One thing you have to keep in mind is save a bunch for a vet just in case.
Oddballs would draw people from mfk in, however thats not really a huge market since most people like more common fish and thats why big als carries them. You would deffinitly need common fish then have a decent selection of oddballs.
