How to tell Retroculus Xinguensis from Lapidifer at 2"?

I have to chop it up into small pieces so they can swallow it. Its a hassle but im use to it.

Im going to try and chop up a bunch and put it into the bloodworm packages so i can just throw cubes in the tanks

It wouldn't hurt to fast them for 2-3 days and then throw some pellets in. They will eventually get it.

Thats true, I done it with many other fish and it worked but for me right now, im just working on growth. Shrimp always help the process. Once they get to a certain size, ill try to switch it over to pellet.
Well i tried something out and it worked great! I put one shrimp in the blend with some water blend it on high for a couple of second dump it into a net to drain the water and you get shrimp soup!

How small are you having to cut the shrimp? I put shrimp in the tank, but the retros dont ever have a chance to eat it. The Leucos tear it up.
One thing I have been doing to is, I'll finely grind some massivore and put it in the tank via syringe. Similarly as you would feeding fry live brine shrimp. All the fine massivore particles sink to the bottom and the eartheaters sift crazily.
