Spots can also vary in size with each species depending on the location they are collected from so spot size isn't always 100% sure fire but for the most part, larger spots means carpintis and smaller spots means cyanoguttatus.

it's not impossible that a website, even the most respectable of websites can make a mistake and mislabel a fish. or there's always the chance that I'm wrong...lol
