How to tell the difference between Mono/Ocel???

Just want to know what are the best ways you can tell a mono and an ocell apart at about about 4.5"-5" in length...I know I've read that monos have more of a long slopped head, but how obvious is it at this size? and is there any other dead give aways? and here is a post of what i think to be a mono??? let me know if im wrong...and does anyone have an ocell around the same size??? thanks fellas!!!! sorry for the horrible pictures...tank lighting is terrible.

posted for you to compare with or of any same or differnt visable traits...;)

i bought two wild caught Monos from Jeff Rapps 2 months back hes about 4.5" looks identical to yours. As far as telling the two apart its very hard until maybe 6" just my 2cents

trust me there are alot of differnces.... and monos and ocell's that are wild do not look alike... maybe @2inches:ROFL:

Im also interested to know how to tell these guys apart, i find it heaps hard to tell the difference..

yeah i bought a bunch of babies @ 1" now some are like 2"-3" i still don't know if they're mono/ocell got to wait till they grow but my mono from jeff rapps looks like the first pic i don't know if he's asking whats the difference for clarification of his own personal fish or just wants to know for future reference, so experts do tell!

i would try to guess this one but the lighting really throws me off
