I've been wondering this same question for quite some time. Having no experience with young cichla, I had no idea how you guys were ID'ing them at such a small size! This shed some light but I guess the rest comes with experience!
I jus came across some 1.5" wild orinos (so the guy says). would you guys be able to ID him at that small or would I have to wait till they are bigger to tell if they are wild orino, farm breed, or even an occel?
