Congrats on a very well done job! I just wonder whether, with the tanks being adjacent, the system you figured out to move the Arapaima, and all the help you had, it really was necessary to sedate the fish..I am sure I would have tried it without sedation, all things considered..but I may be wrong..anyway, what you guys did is serious fiskeeping at its best!!

appreciate your thoughts......... we thought about it alot.......
and weighed the risks of injury to both the gigas and
to personnel............

the few times he has been twitchy in the tank, water
and objects went flying and a pile of gigas scales end
up on the gravel.......... pretty impressive to see and scary
at the same time because there is nothing that you could
do one way or another !!!
