How do you tell the difference between this strain and a regular brown?

my understanding is they have more of a silvery color than your typical brown trout. But I could be wrong. I can't find the info online so I'll have to take a look at the board by the river tomorrow.

Yah its driving me nuts cause after I found out they were doing this, I read something about it(I believe this was last year or the year before) and now can't for the life of me seem to find the information again.

where did you catch these at? i fish the potmac for bluecats and would love to try for a snakehead

spotfin, I checked the board today but it didn't specify the details about the experimental strain just that they were stocking it along with traditional strains.
